Another factor that John wanted to improve on was the overall value of the bait to the customer. This is how Bitter’s Best Value Soft Plastics were born. Our passion is building better baits to help you catch more and bigger fish per buck.
Bitter’s Bait and Tackle opened its doors in 1989 and has been expanding and improving ever since. John Bitter, the owner, fished B.A.S.S. Weekend Series, FLW, BFL, and many other local tournaments since that time. It was this tournament experience and the experience obtained from brother, and B.A.S.S. pro, Jim, that led John to have a desire to build better soft plastic baits than were currently available.
